Mosquitos
Standing water located on or near your property is the biggest reason why you have a large mosquito population biting you and your family. Female mosquitoes lay their eggs on top of standing or very slow-moving water. Common breeding sites for mosquitoes include the edges of streams and lakes, in clogged gutters, in wading pools, in wheelbarrows, old tires, or low-lying areas in yards or driveways. The best way to help reduce mosquito populations on your property is to eliminate any source of standing water you find - even water on the top of a tarp can become a breeding site!
